Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome  is a disease-specific to women. Polycystic ovary syndrome is a syndrome of the ovaries of women. Polycystic ovary syndrome in reproductive women; menstrual irregularity, non-menstrual period, acne, weight gain, hair growth, and lubrication causes.

This is because; In the reproductive period, the female hormone estrogen rather than the male hormone testosterone hormone is more secreted. Polycystic ovary disease is suspected in women when such complaints are present and the diagnosis of the polycystic ovary is made at the end of blood hormone analysis and ultrasound examination.

Women with each polycystic ovary may have different complaints. Some menstrual irregularities are in the foreground, while another woman’s hair growth problem is in the foreground. In fact, some women with polycystic ovary syndrome have ovulation problems even though they have menstruation.

Factors Causing Polycystic Syndrome


Genetic structure of the woman, ovulation problems, excess weight gain, the effect of insulin hormone, over-secretion of testosterone hormone. Or a combination of several of these factors may cause polycystic ovary.

The biggest problem of polycystic ovary syndrome in women during the reproductive period is menstrual irregularity, nonmenstrual period, ovulation problems and therefore not being able to conceive. These problems are directly related to each other and they are the result of each other.
